Miyabi Rose is an experimental Asian-fusion floral studio based in Oxford, UK. We create unique, one-of-a-kind floral designs and custom cakes using 100% seasonal and local flowers, delivered directly to or made at your venue, for events, businesses, colleges, and churches. We bake healthy cakes without preservatives, decorated with fresh, edible flowers. We run Wellbeing floristry workshops with children and university students and staff to help them navigate stress and anxiety through mindfully focusing on the beauty of nature.
We are inspired by the deep love of nature celebrated in Victorian Romanticism found in Victorian poetry, art, and the history of Queen Victoria. Our arrangements are guided by Japanese Philosophy and the principles of Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower design. We celebrate every stage of a plant’s lifecycle, using flowers in all their natural phases.
Our Commitment to Sustainability is that we only use 100% Seasonal & Local plants and flowers from British gardeners, allotment owners, and farmers.

Miyabi Rose is run by Australian born, Igea Troiani who was trained as an architect but who learnt floristry, including Ikebana, in her teens. Leading a floristry atelier in the UK, where she has lived since 2005, allows her to explore architectural design through nature in an interdisciplinary and collaborative way. She also makes films and has published many books and articles. She is equally fascinated in the literature on the language of flowers, Victorian and Japanese floristry and painting and ‘the art of inhabitation’.
